In October 2022, The Israel Academy of Sciences and Humanities signed an agreement for scientific cooperation with the Brazilian Academy of Sciences, with the aim of cultivating and promoting relationships between outstanding scientists from both countries for the mutual benefit of their scientific communities.

 

The agreement is for an initial four years and calls for a Brazilian-Israeli scientific workshop every two years, alternating between Brazil and Israel.

 

The agreement was signed by Academy Presidents Prof. David Harel and Prof. Helena Bonciani Nader in an online ceremony.
