Israel Academy member Prof. Zvi Ben Avraham met with Prof. Akif Alizadeh, President of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, as part of the cooperation agreement between the two academies. They explored possible scientific cooperation and the development of scientific ties between researchers in the fields of earth sciences and related fields including oil and gas.

 

The meeting was also attended by Prof. Ibrahim Guliyev, Vice President of the Azerbaijan Academy of Sciences, Fakhraddin Gadirov, Academic Secretary of the Division of Earth Sciences of the Academy and other researchers from the Azerbaijan Academy.
