The Annual Adams Conference took place at the Israel Academy on February 6, 2019, with the participation of the current Adams Fellows at all of Israel's universities. They came from around the country for a day of lectures in several scientific fields, coupled with an opportunity to get to know fellow members of Israel’s community of young scientists.

 

Participants heard lectures by the incoming Chair of the Adams Fellowship Committee, Academy member Prof. Moshe Oren, by Academy Vice President Prof. David Harel, and by Academy Members Prof. Naama Barkai, a new member of the Adams Fellowship Committee, Prof. Moti Segev, the outgoing committee chair, Prof. Yosef Yarden, Prof. Elon Lindenstrauss and Prof. Yoel Rak. At the end of the day, the Fellows enjoyed a tour of the exhibition "The Fossil Trail: Evidence for Human Evolution," now on display at the Academy, guided by its curator, Prof. Yoel Rak.
