The Israel Academy of Sciences and Humanities and the Royal Society signed a renewed scientific cooperation agreement

The Israel Academy of Sciences and Humanities and the Royal Society signed a renewed agreement between the national academies, ensuring an additional five years of cooperative scientific activities.
 
The President of the Israel Academy, Prof. Nili Cohen, and the President of the Royal Society, Nobel laureate Dr. Venki Ramakrishnan, signed the agreement today, February 24, during the opening of a two-day bilateral conference on “Structural Biology: The Molecular Fabric of Life.”
 
They were joined by the British Ambassador in Israel, H.E. Neil Wigan, OBE, who has actively supported and cultivated scientific partnership between Israel and the UK.
