The President and Vice President of the Israel Academy,
Prof. David Harel and
Prof. Margalit Finkelberg, visited Bar-Ilan University on September 7, 2022. They met with the President of the university, Prof. Arie Zaban, the Rector, Prof. Amnon Albeck, and the CEO, Mr. Zohar Yinon.
Prof. Harel and Prof. Finkelberg also toured the campus, where they visited the laboratory of
Prof. Beena Kalisky, a member of the Israel Young Academy’s Steering Committee, in the Faculty of Physics; the laboratory of Prof. Aren Maeir of the Department of Land of Israel Studies and Archaeology, which is conducting research on the excavations at Tell es-Safi; and the laboratory of Dr. Nitzan Gonen of the Faculty of Life Sciences.
