The 500-plus-page volume Hebraïsche liturgische Poesien zu den Judenverfolgungen während der Ersten Kreuzzugs presents a critical edition of twenty-seven liturgical poems (Hebrew: piyutim) composed in the aftermath of the massacres that occurred in 1096, in the early stages of the First Crusade. A book launch was held at the MGH in Munich on July 14, 2016.
