Dr. Asiye Tuba Özdoğar graduated from Dokuz Eylül University in Turkey. She received her MSc and PhD from the Dokuz Eylül University under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Özge Ertekin and Assoc. Prof. Turhan Kahraman. Her research interest is in neurorehabilitation, especially in people with multiple sclerosis. After her PhD, she started work at Van Yüzüncü Yıl University as an Assistant Professor.

 

Through the IASH CHE Excellence Fellowship Program, Dr. Özdoğar is working with Alon Kalron and his research group at the School of Health Professions at the Sackler Faculty of Medicine of Tel Aviv University to determine the frequency of Restless Legs Syndrome among people with multiple sclerosis in Israel. Apart from her research, Dr. Özdoğar enjoys reading, running, and discovering other cultures.
